Non-attachment in Sanskrit is called upādāna [clinging, grasping]—when grasping releases, the heart walks lightly.
📜 “One who is calm toward all saṅkhāras is called peaceful.” — Dhammapada Verse 367
This line defines santo[the calm / tranquil one], the unburdened one, whose serenity does not depend on ornaments or approval.
A single image can invite every background
without intimidation—this is the spirit of mettā [unconditional kindness, goodwill],
kindness that expects nothing in return. 🪷✨
The pagoda of the mind is built from understanding, not possession.
Stand at the gate of 2026 with anupādāna [non-attachment] — the past rests behind you.🌙🍃 This echoes the Buddha’s words in the Mahāparinirvāṇa Sutra teaching that all formations pass and only understanding travels with us. 🎆🙏

The Buddha spoke these foundational words in Śrāvastī, ancient India:
📜 “West of here, passing beyond a hundred thousand million Buddha-lands,
there is a world called Sukhāvatī.
There dwells the Buddha named Amitābha, now teaching the Dharma.”
— Amitābha Sūtra (Sukhāvatīvyūha)
In the video, Venerable Guan Cheng explains that the Pure Land is like the universal grand station — when we chant the name of Amitābha, we can dial into the Pure Land itself, meeting the frequency of compassion rather than remaining uncertain about the afterlife.
Venerable Guan Cheng reminds us: many paths require countless efforts to reach enlightenment in one lifetime, yet Amitābha’s 48 vows support ordinary beings who recite with sincerity. Think wisely about what comes after this life and choose a direction that carries your heart.
